It's happening in Hubli dharwad as well. I know because my close family member works there, its horrible. The staff is being monitored and micromanaged. A driver for our family since 20+ yrs just had his wife's major surgery. He just wants to manage funds for the loans he took for it. Now they have set this protest as the litmus test and their loyalists are prying on all staff. From 24-27 i believe everyone from the janitor, non teaching, teaching and students must join in for the protest. They tried to arrange a similar protest when the soujanya's case went viral a few months ago, 3k people went but the DC didn't approve for the protest. 

The kind of fear my relative and driver expressed is insane. They even shared some higher management lady asked one of loyalists that so much defensiveness and protests actually proves the point of these accusations. Isn't it better not to protest and rather go by the court of law for better public morale. She was terminated with no severance.
